Purity Innovative Water Designs is staging a 13-foot Christmas “Giving Tree” this holiday season in their gallery to benefit the Shepherd Community and Caring at Christmas programs for families in need this year. Donations of new toys, hats, gloves, socks and underwear for children under 12-years old as well as canned foods can be dropped off under the tree until Wednesday, December 20th during regular business hours.
Businesses will vie this week for $150,000 in the third annual entrepreneurship competition at the Purdue Technology Center, the school announced today. Finalists are competing in one of three regions: Lafayette-West Lafayette on Tuesday; northwest Indiana on Wednesday; and Fort Wayne on Friday.
