Purity Innovative Water Designs is staging a 13-foot Christmas “Giving Tree” this holiday season in their gallery to benefit the Shepherd Community and Caring at Christmas programs for families in need this year. Businesses to vie for $150K in Purdue contest

Businesses will vie this week for $150,000 in the third annual entrepreneurship competition at the Purdue Technology Center, the school announced today. Finalists are competing in one of three regions: Lafayette-West Lafayette on Tuesday; northwest Indiana on Wednesday; and Fort Wayne on Friday.

As a state we need more of this type of emphasis on entrepreneurship. We have the talent, now we need the training,and financing!
